【Product introduction】
In the Andes region, large pieces of cloth are used in a variety of ways, including wrapping luggage and making baby slings. Recently, I've been seeing people using machine-woven thin cloth around town, but this is a poncho-shaped version of a ``manta'', which is mainly intended to be worn over one's body to protect against the cold. This hand-woven item is thick and has a fine weave that prevents wind from passing through. Made of alpaca and wool yarn, it has excellent heat retention. The texture that is not found in machine-woven fabrics and the patterns unique to the Andes are eye-catching. Most of the dyeing is done using traditional methods such as using plants or mud, so even the same color has nuances and each piece has its own individuality.
Pair it with a plain long T-shirt for everyday use, or wear it over a down jacket on cold days. Your shoulders will be warm and the swinging hem will lighten your mood.
