A town called "Pisac" that I love

I'm going to write a blog about my trip to Peru.
This time, I will be talking about how to get to Pisac, my favorite place.
Pisac, which can be reached by car from Cusco in Peru in about an hour, is a town located in a place called the Sacred Valley, and is home to the Pisac Ruins, a vast site dotted with numerous ruins, one of my favorites. There may be a market.

Travel by colectivo (shared bus) from Cusco

There is a collectivo stop on Puputi Street, which is about a 10-15 minute walk from the center of Cusco. You can easily recognize it because it calls out loudly, "Pisac! Pisac!" Please note that this is a shared bus, so it will not depart until the bus is full of people.

Pisac is a very small town with a nice atmosphere.

If you just want to go around the town of Pisac, you can do it in less than an hour on foot. It's such a small town.
The town is built around a plaza where everyone in the town gathers to talk and events are held. In the evening, the area becomes even more lively with children coming out of school. There are daily necessities stores, general stores, cafes, and restaurants everywhere, so just walking around is exciting.

A market is held on weekends, so it is crowded with day-trip tourists.

A miscellaneous goods market that is open not only on weekends but every day. The colors are bright and it's really fun just walking around. Everyone in the store is friendly and smiles at me.

Next time, I would like to write a blog about things I noticed during my stay in Pisac, such as delicious cafes and food.
